teh tarik confessions

It’s been a long time coming, but family feels like love now. ❤

Have been stuck at home for the past few days due to a rather lame ear ache which has me doped up on painkillers.

I did however manage to catch Alfian Sa’at’s play Pariah yesterday which was simply AMAZEBALLS. Tickets to tomorrow’s matinee show are still available if you’re interested.

Here’s to a great weekend!

Been a while since I posted videos here, I found this while surfing Thought Catalog which features some of the most brilliantly-written articles (You Should Date An Illiterate Girl) amidst some not-so-great ones (Realising Your Sister is Cooler Than You).

This video is something totally different. It’s called “Food Fight” and because I don’t want to spoil the surprise, do watch it and let me know what you think. If you’re a history buff, you are going to love it!

I’ve gone and lost my blogging mojo. I don’t know how or why, but I did and it’s been quite a downer. Do you get one of those days? I’m hoping to get myself out of it, hence this post. I’d appreciate some words of advice if you have any.

Enjoy the photos, these were from the Topshop Style Scout finals back in May where my friend Liyana was one of the finalists, it was truly a lovely night out!

Cross your fingers that I’ll be inspired to blog more! Need to get myself out of this slump, pronto!

short shorts

Back from our short trip to Bali, it definitely was not enough. Looking forward to the visiting it again and this time heading to Ubud for the rice padi fields.

In other news, I ran the Sundown Marathon without much training and survived with the best timing I ever had! Don’t ask me why I do it, for some reason despite the pain and me wanting to quit at 13km, somehow I clung on and managed to finish it in 5 hours and 42 minutes. Already thinking about the next race, which I really should train for this time.

Random question, but what makes Caprisone such a good beach drink? I love it!
